1. Prepaid Credits
LexPatra operates on a prepaid credits system. Credits are purchased in advance and consumed when you use paid services across Draft Sahayak, AI Sahayak, and Documents Sahayak.
2. Documents Sahayak (DIY Documents)
2.1 Before generation: No credits are deducted until you click "Generate/Download." You may preview documents for free before committing credits.
2.2 After generation: Once a document has been generated and credits deducted, the transaction is final. Refunds are not available for successfully generated documents as the service has been fully rendered.
2.3 Technical failure: If document generation fails due to a technical error on our end and credits are deducted, the credits will be automatically restored to your account within 24 hours. If not restored automatically, contact us and we will restore them manually.
3. AI Sahayak (AI Tools)
3.1 Credits consumed for AI tool usage are non-refundable as the AI processing service is rendered immediately upon request.
3.2 If an AI tool returns an error or fails to produce any output and credits are deducted, contact us for a credit restoration.
4. Draft Sahayak (Expert Drafting)
4.1 Expert drafting services are quoted per matter. Payment terms are agreed upon before work commences.
4.2 Cancellation before work begins: Full refund minus any applicable payment gateway processing fees.
4.3 Cancellation after work begins: Partial refund proportionate to work not yet completed, at our discretion.
4.4 After delivery: No refund after the drafted document has been delivered. If you are dissatisfied with the quality, we offer one round of revision at no additional cost.
5. Unused Credit Balance
5.1 Purchased credits do not expire.
5.2 Refund of unused credits is available only if: you request it within 30 days of purchase AND no credits from that purchase have been used.
5.3 Free signup credits (10 credits) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
6. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to info@lexpatra.com with subject line "Refund Request" including your username, transaction ID, amount, and reason for the refund. We will respond within 48 hours.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method. Payment gateway processing fees (typically 2–3%) are non-refundable.
8. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer at grievance@lexpatra.com. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh/Panchkula, Haryana.
